Taiwan: Flavours of a beautiful island

Accompanied by a local culinary guide throughout

From £2,345pp

Taiwan is a culinary adventure just waiting to happen. A tropical climate, vast altitude range and abundant marine life provide Taiwanese chefs with an array of the highest quality ingredients, and the island's diverse cultural influences make it one of the world's premier culinary destinations. Indigenous communities hunt wild boar and forage for wild mountain vegetables, while Chinese immigrants have brought regional dishes from all over the mainland, and to cap it all off the Japanese period has left Taiwan with a love of sushi.

This food journey, accompanied by a local culinary guide will take you to many of my favourite places and some of the island's most mouth-watering destinations. Experience the night markets and cosmopolitan variety of Taipei, linger in fragrant mountain forests and tea fields and indulge in the sumptuous southern snacks of Tainan. So prime your chopstick skills and get ready for a real taste of Taiwan.
